How it works
While the exact process may vary slightly, here’s a general overview of purchasing a Creative Modular Home.
Pre-construction
Initial consultation
This is where you’ll discuss your needs, lifestyle, budget and location. At this stage, you should also speak to your bank or mortgage broker to arrange pre-approval if you haven’t already.
Site assessment and design
If you already have land, we’ll carry out a complimentary site inspection. If not, you can choose from one of our available blocks.
Based on your input and the site assessment, we’ll work with you to finalise your design, including floor plans, interior and exterior finishes, and any specific features.
Quote and contract
Once the design is finalised, you’ll receive a detailed quote outlining all costs involved. After reviewing and agreeing, you’ll be provided with a HIA contract including plans, specifications, estimated construction price and any upgrade allowances selected.
The balance of the deposit is due at this stage, along with settlement of the land if purchased through Creative Modular Homes.
Permits and approvals
We’ll assist you in obtaining the necessary building permits and council approvals, as well as organising soil reports, contours and detailed site surveys.
Construction
Site preparation
While your home is being built in the factory, site preparation will take place on your land. This includes preparing the foundation, connecting utilities and ensuring access for transport and crane placement.
Delivery and installation
The modular sections of your home will be transported to site and carefully installed using a crane.
Post-construction
Finishing touches
Once the modules are in place, we complete the final connections, interior and exterior finishes, and landscaping.
Handover
After final payment and inspections, you’ll receive the keys to your new Creative Modular Home and can move in.
